Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Hello again, It's me I am finally home from the trip. Took us 8 hours to get home. It will be put why later in the journal

Now for Day 2 of A-Kon23

Alrighty I know this is late again

my apologizes. So how did it go, well we got up ate some waffles and headed to con. When we got there we headed to the dealers room but before we got there we saw a badass Chrona cosplayer. After I nearly fainted and got ONE photo. (Thank god it is a really good) I went into the dealer's room went right where the Zoids were and said these words. "I want that Shield Liger right behind you!!" and guess what?? I now own a HMM Shield Liger Bang Version. :3 Going to start building it tomorrow!!!!! I got some other furry stuff that I could get my hands on!! I was really happy with the stuff I bought at the con. You guys will see a photo of my A-Kon swag probably tomorrow. Back onto the Day 2. We tried to find some of the panels but the con was spread across three different areas it got bit confusing

But we had a blast walking around and see in the different cosplayers, it was really cool and fun! We left pretty early thinking we would come back, we didn't. Instead we explored more of Dallas and I got some cool photos for my Night Lights series so I was really happy.

Than ended our night hoping to watch Deadman Wonderland which we MISSED

Day 3:
Now day 3 wasn't spent at the con. No no, it was spent going to different places in TX, such as Dinosaur World. Up there is such a thing and we went to it and had a blast! On the way back home it us almost 10 hours to get home X3 But we are home and very tired.

So A-Kon23 was a fucking blast and probably the best con ever! Now to wait for A-Kon24, May 31- June 2 2013. I WILL BE FUCKING BE THERE!!!!!!!!!

Now I am very tired and want to play some Neopets. (didn't get on for two days) Photos from the con WILL have my watermark for personal reasons and will be edited and uploaded tomorrow :3

I think we saw you guys, but wasn't sure. Awesome with the Zoids. Yap I now own my first HMM one as well, the Liger Zero Jager. It was a choosing between all four ligers and sadly I had to admit that Jager is my all-time fave out of the four that was up there...and ~Mitzep , my boyfriend, wanted me to get that one so I did. We spent parts of Friday night and Saturday afternoon working on him and got to finish the base of the head, body, weapon, one foreleg, and half of the other foreleg. Hoping to have him done before leaving for a 3-week vacation to Ireland (feels very bittersweet about this, but mom wanted us to go so bad). Also what was amazing was that there was a Furry Fiesta meet up in the Sheraton last night from 7 pm til 1 in the morning (stayed til about 10). Very nice and sweet furries there. They had snacks, drinks, Wii system with Super Smash Bros Brawl, charity auction to win cool stuff, and Thundercats. This con had to be my favorite as well compared to last year though I did get jealous since I didn't bring Kitsune this year. I'll have her ready hopefully by next year and maybe have my boyfriend's fursuit done as well (at least a partial). :'D
